Tasting Notes Both the nose and taste of the wine displays hints of lime, melon and fig. This wine is wonderfully matched with white meats and yellow cheeses. Cellar up to 4 years.
Wine Making This classic Macedon Chardonnay produced from our four French clones, estate grown fruit on unilateral cordons. Barrel fermented to enhance the premium fruit and displaying great balance of acid and fruit.

Terroir Pauline Russell and John Boucher believe the best wine is made in the vineyard. The terroir of their site is unique from other sites in Macedon Ranges, allowing them to produce quality grapes for their premium wine. This is formed by an infinite number of factors, from the granite soil to the aspect of the vines. Each vine is expertly hand pruned followed by shoot thinning at the end of Spring. Using the same format each year allows the vines never to be over cropped. It is from this John & Pauline produce their premium wines.
