The November Budburst festival is the region's largest annual event and showcases a the best food and wine that Macedon has to offer.  Kyneton Ridge Estate is one of the premier winery destinations for Budburst, offering wine tastings, light café meals or full Sunday lunches. Budburst 2010, 13 -14 November

We will be serving food all Budburst weekend.  The majority of our ingredients have been sourced locally, supporting local farmers and businesses. Enjoy a two course meal on Sunday, or pop past any time over the weekend for a casual meal or snack.

This year we are proud to feature artwork from locally renowned artist Vanessa <surname>. Vanessa will be at Kyneton Ridge Estate on both Saturday and Sunday to discuss her artwork.

Join chief winemaker John Boucher, for complimentary wine tastings featuring new pinot noir and sparkling releases. Kyneton Ridge is open all Budburst weekend so come past for a wine or some coffee and bask in the sun as you enjoy the panoramic views from our deck. Grab a light snack or book in for lunch. Kyneton Ridge Estate is an all weather venue, with air conditioning on hot days, and crackling log fires for when the chill sets in.

Vanessa <surname>

Vanessa has lived in the Macedon Ranges since arriving in australia 40 years ago.  She studied at Cardiff College of Art before heading to London to further her studies in fashion and fabric design.

Living in Woodend has enabled her to follow her loves of horses and painting. 

A love of colour and movement found its expression in the painting of water in all its guises and,its major stars, Fish!  Zebras also make visits from tme to time..... Crazy horses.  Masks have proved a great sauce of inspiration to explore our various faces.

We hope you enjoy her paintings as much as Vanessa loves and enjoys painting them.
